The Bill (Reg. No.1024-3) introduces amendments and supplements to Article 19 of the Law "On Provision of Pensions", Article 28 of the Law "On Obligatory State Retirement Insurance" and Article 27 of the Law "On State Social Standards and State Social Safeguards". However, the Bill can not be upheld for a number of reasons.
Inter alia, the Committee fails to uphold the introduced amendments to Article 19 of the Law "On Provision of Pensions", pursuant to which, "minimum rate of retirement pension is determined due to the State social standards defined by the Law "On State Social Standards and State Social Safeguards", and "minimum rate of pension is increased due to the rise of a living wage, and can not be lower than it". However, the regulations of the said Law in the part of determining the minimum rate of retirement pension are no longer valid.
The Committee members also made a number of other motions concerning the Bill.
